This too me is actually a very big milestone – infact it’s massive. So big it’s a featured post as this is long overdue and I’m just so damn pleased right now!
Why? Let me explain, when I started WOW nealy 5 years ago I created a warrior, which I didn’t really like so the next char I started was infact a Blood Elf ‘Priest’ called strangely enough Dvotee (wow bet your amazed) but too cut a long story short I didn’t really get the priest.
I would revisit the char every so often and over the last 4 years I actually levelled it to 63 but in amongst that time I started a few chars on the alliance side and decided to transfer this char over. So Dvotee had to go as I wanted a name more ‘becoming’ of a Night Elf and eventually came up with Lyllyana. (here’s a pic of her on the right after I moved her across to the alliance side – such a young thing eh! haha)
Anyways I hit level 70 on her tonight and in this one night have earn’t nearly enough honor points for her to be fully pvp epic geared which is just freaking amazing.
I can recall getting to level 70 way back when and it taking months to get the equivelent of this gear on my hunter, yet I’ve nearly done it in one night. What is damn handy is with the transmorgification coming up and me loving this level of gear and how it looks I may end up opting for this as my main look further down the road but let’s see, it is an option.
As for the priest. I am now starting to really fall in love this class. I’m starting to understand the mechanics of how they work much better. I’ve respecced from Shadow and purchased dual talents so am now Holy and Discipline.
WTF Holy? Yes I’ve been healing and actually doing quite well. No one has died through my lack of ability so far but 2 wipes were the tank said ‘brb’ and then a mage decided to pull which was too much. I’m yet to heal a dungeon in Northrend so that will be interesting. Im running ‘disc’ for pvp and will run with’holy’ for pve.
I really can’t belive that this character is finally getting the recognition it deserves from me. I always said I would never delete it as I’ve go such a soft spot for the priest and now finally that moment has arrived where I can say yes….she finally gott’n a hold of me and being able to remember back to the day I created this char, its real sweet to see me finally enjoying her.
If I stick at it, I think I’ve found my new ‘main’ char
